Character and model development

Once we have some direction, we can start making our 3D models.

Creating a single generic model we can work on animating and controlling the model.

Once we have that we can create the models for each class, monster models, and set models. This team will be working closely with the Map creators, finding/creating textures and deciding on visual elements. A process will be developed in order for the mappers to request set deco for their maps.

This process will also vary depending on which engine is chosen for the game.

This phase could occupy the majority of the art team’s production time. Deadlines for this phase will be set per objective. Even then, the functions of this phase could be provided into the testing phase.
